Job Description Senior Rust Developer GavinHeath is partnering with a client in Denver, CO looking to add a Senior Rust Developer to their team. The role is a Contract to Hire position. Responsibilities : •Work closely with Security Architects to design, build, and release new features and services from scratch •Implementing distributed services in Rust •Iterate over current codebase to improve it and fix any bugs •Be a core developer and maintainer of multiple codebases written in Rust •Be highly involved in the decisions related to the core software architecture •Translate design orientations into actionable implementations •Major contributions on the technical directions with the engineering team •Work with the open source community by collaborating with external contributors on our codebase, creating and participating in events, and facilitating information exchange between our community and other open source communities Qualifications : •6+ years software engineering experience •4+ years working with Rust •Experience with signal processing, machine learning, or data analysis •Experience working with C/C++ •Familiarity with Linux development GavinHeath is an equal opportunity employer.
