As a Senior Rust Engineer at Redjack, you'll be a go-to person for complex Rust development issues. In this high-impact role, you will influence the development and continued improvement of our code quality by demonstrating best practices and mentoring Rust engineers at all levels. You will co-create software within a pod of 3-7 developers where we value audacity and curiosity. This role calls for an adept listener, who asks a lot of questions, and displays curiosity while engineering solutions with pod mates.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage Rust expertise to deliver new features and improve the performance of existing code
- Advise and help others on the team to achieve a common goal
- Influence technical designs and ensure a scalable, maintainable architecture
- Documenting and encouraging best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Strong people & interpersonal skills.
- Experience & proficiency in Rust
- Experience in backend software development
- Experience working collaboratively with a software engineering team
